This place doesn't need my review, it speaks for itself. The staff are amazing, the food is next level, and the cocktails are outstanding. Even the tarot card descriptions are an experience in themselves and add to the unique atmosphere. Thank you for letting me eat at your establishment. It was memorable from start to finish.

Great experience, not your stereotypical french food. The Degustation menu is a must try and is absolutely very filling.

This is a beautiful place for an intimate meal. Not too big and noise levels manageable. The dress standards of other guests was a bit low considering the style or restaurant 🤔 Everything was delicious, service excellent- Kevin was attentive but not in our face. Refreshing not to be asked 'how is everything' when taking the first bite of a meal.

Le Pas Sage is an intimate little gem that feels like stepping straight into a Parisian cabaret. Although we only stopped in looking for some causal drinks to end our night, we were blown away. With dim lighting, rich red curtains, and a sultry French cabaret aesthetic that feels equal parts romantic and mischievous. Soft, jazzy music hums in the background, setting a mood that’s effortlessly seductive yet refined. The staff elevate the experience even further. Warm, attentive, and undeniably charming, they carry that beautiful French accent that makes every interaction feel a little more indulgent and transportive. The food and drinks are exquisite. The baked Camembert is pure indulgence, warm, gooey and rich, served with fresh bread perfect for dipping, alongside a simple salad brought to life by a dressing so vibrant and well-balanced. The drinks are decadent and daring, yet presented with a level of refinement that feels almost theatrical. Dessert is where things become truly irresistible. The crème brûlée delivers that signature crack as your spoon breaks through the caramelised top, revealing a silky, soft centre that melts effortlessly on the palate. The chocolate fondant is equally divine, warm and oozing with molten chocolate, paired with a side of ice cream that creates the perfect hot-and-cold contrast. It’s indulgence done right. The wine menu has something for everyone, thoughtfully curated to suit both casual drinkers and those wanting to indulge, perfectly complementing the richness and elegance of the menu. Then there’s the hidden surprise, the secret bathroom, tucked behind what appears to be a book shelf door. It’s unexpected, cheeky, and perfectly in line with the venue’s rebellious personality. Le Pas Sage isn’t just a place to eat or drink, it’s an experience. Intimate, romantic, a little provocative, and completely unforgettable. Definitely a spot worth visiting. We will be back for dinner and more drinks for sure.

Absolute 10/10 100% will dine again. Lovely bread dish upon arrival is an amazing gesture and everything ordered was beyond expectations. Can not fault a single part or the night. Serving sizes were generous, drinks were amazing and the crème brûlée well passed the crunch test. Can’t wait for our next date night, we’ll be back. Unfortunately I forgot to photo our food, but I did photo my drink because I loved the ice ‘cube’

Took my wife for her birthday dinner and had the autumn dugustation course. All the dishes were excellent and well thought of, staff were warm and welcoming, ambience top tier. Would recommend to my friends and definitely excited to try their seasonal degustation menu. Fantastique!

Absolutely 5/5 star for this incredible Frenchie! The service was really good, not pushy at all despite i arrived much earlier than my company. They left me be then as soon as my company arrived, they serve the bread appetiser straightaway! Thought that was a very good small gesture that should not go unnoticed! The cocktail and food tasted amazing as well! 10/10 would come back!

FOOD - We went for the tasting menu and everything on there was great! The standouts were the salmon and duck dishes (photos). Most importantly, serving is very generous - what you see in the photos are for one person. I was enjoying the food so much, I’ve forgotten to take photos of all dishes in the tasting menu so keep in mind what you see is just a fraction of the full offering. You can see a list of dishes in other photos with menu. SERVICE - Service was very quick, attentive and friendly. ATMOSPHERE - I don’t think it’s a place for a quiet date, but you can still definitely go on a date as most diners here are on a date! You may need to speak up a little, that’s all. Repeat visit - of course, why not?

I may not be doing this restaurant justice in rating their deserts and sweets, as French deserts are just way too rich for me, so take those with a pinch of salt as we'd say. Overall, the tasting menu was exquisite and well worth the money. Continue for full read: 2 minutes The quality of the tasting menu was top notch, and definitely a value for money. It reminded me of another restaurant, Sage in Canberra (when it first opened and was amazing). #1. Baget + truffle sauce: 9/10 Aromatic truffle creamy sauce with finely cut Baget slices. If only the taste was stronger with slightly heavier savoury spices, would had been a perfect start. #2. Baget, with butter 3 ways: 8/10 Butter flavour from light to heavier flavour profile. Decent and unique. #3. Salmon with cream sauce: 9/10 Lightly smoked salmon with a very playful fluffy cream. The a great modern combination of French cuisine with a slight Japanese influence in the balancing of flavours. #4. Pumpkin Soup - 10/10 Finely layered with walnuts, micro herbs, pear slices and small bacon like slices. A beautiful nutty aroma well balanced light pumpkin soup with sweet, sour, savoury profiles each not overwhelming the other. Cannot fault it. #5. Duck leg and Mash - 12/10 Absolutely the highlight of the course, and amazing how it gradually got better as the courses progressed. The duck was confit perfectly then lightly pan fried with spices sprinkled. The near fell off the bone and every bite was heavenly. The mash potato was mixed with truffle sauce that gave an amazing aroma and a perfect combination to the duck meat. The only thing is I'd warn against this choice if you have heart issues, it is devilishly oily and should be avoided. #6. Cheese Platter - 5/10 Cheese platter with Jam, micro herbs and dried fruits. The start of the down hill of the bell curve. Some cheese combinations are fine, but mostly not my taste after having the confit duck, this feel off the cliff and was a low light. #7. Dessert 3 ways - 5

Had such a wonderful dining experience here in Hindmarsh Square. Every single plate that arrived at our table was presented like a work of art, featuring such delicate touches as fresh rosemary sprigs and vibrant edible flowers. The food was absolutely delicious. I was particularly impressed by the roasted potatoes and the creamy dips. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I cannot wait to come back for another meal soon.
